English Behind the Bar

Hospitality English, taught by someone who's actually worked the bar.

The Cat Bartender is a professional bartender currently based in Sapa, Vietnam, working at an elegant, well-known bar called Lady My, with international experience across Colombia, Brazil, New York, Bangkok, and Vietnam. He studied English formally through school and university — he holds a degree in International Business Administration, completed largely in English — plus an advanced TEFL/TESOL certification. On top of that: years of real work experience operating in English, behind the bar, with international guests across multiple countries. The differentiator: not just academic training, not just floor experience — the combination of both. He knows how to teach with structure, and he understands the reality of working in hospitality.
